Premiere 29.09.20205 -at the Concerthall of the Hochschule für Musik & Tanz in Cologne (HfMT)
in (between) movement investigates the shifting notion of belonging as both a physical and a metaphysical space. The choice of format reflects the layered nature of this theme where the dancer reacts to the sonic and visual environment in an improvisatory manner, allowing the performance to remain fluid and responsive. This openness mirrors the instability and transformation inherent in the concept of belonging and migration. By bringing body, sound, and visual into dialogue, in (between) movement highlights the tension between inner states and external conditions. It reflects the layered, unstable experience of migration, leaving space for constant negotiation and transformation.
